Organizer #9: Bone Squad: The Super Strong Support Team
All over your body lives the Bone Squad, a team of tough, hardworking heroes who keep you standing tall.
The leader, Captain Calcium, shouts every morning,
“Alright team—hold everything up!”
Your bones aren’t just hard sticks. Inside, they’re busy factories making new blood cells, storing calcium, and keeping everything strong and steady.
When you run, the Bone Squad says,
“We’ve got the legs!”
When you jump, they shout,
“Impact incoming—brace yourselves!”
And when you fall, they grumble,
“Hey! A little warning next time!”
Deep inside each bone, tiny workers called marrow minions make new red and white blood cells—thousands every second.
They throw them into the bloodstream like,
“Fresh cells! Hot off the press!”
Bones also grow, heal, and shape-shift as you get older.
If you break one, Captain Calcium gathers everyone and says,
“Alright squad, let’s repair this thing!”
From your skull guarding your brain to your ribs protecting your lungs to your leg bones helping you run fast, the Bone Squad works together nonstop.
They stand proudly and cheer,
“Strong, steady, and unbreakably loyal—that’s us!”
And that’s how your bones keep your whole body standing, moving, and protected every day.
