Our Team

Anthony Jones, Founder

Hi, I’m Anthony Jones — founder of  Science in Stories, a platform dedicated to transforming complex science and medicine into engaging, story-driven learning experiences.

I earned my Master’s degree in Laboratory Medicine and Pathology from the University of Washington, where my work focused on immunology, bioengineering, and translational biomedical research. My research experience includes studying autoimmune diseases at the Benaroya Research Institute, with a focus on CD4⁺ T cell responses and immune mechanisms involved in diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and type 1 diabetes. I have also contributed to projects involving organ-on-chip systems, antimicrobial compound development, and antigen-specific immune profiling.

Beyond research, I have extensive clinical experience through emergency department medical scribing, hospital internships, physician shadowing, and patient-centered volunteer work. These experiences strengthened my passion for bridging the gap between science, medicine, and public understanding.

Through Science in Stories, my goal is to make biology and healthcare more approachable, memorable, and inspiring for students, patients, and curious minds of all ages by combining storytelling, creativity, and science education.
